S.2 E. 11 - Preparing for the Unexpected
Some years ago my mom and dad were at a restaurant for Sunday lunch when my mom took a sip of her sweet tea only to spit it out and then learn that instead of sugar in that sweet tea, it was pure lye. Fast forward through a trip to the hospital ER, a ride in the life flight helicopter to be admitted into the ICU Burn Unit of a major hospital, and over a week in a coma - my mom miraculously walked out of that hospital weeks later. Obviously, that wasn't a scenario we were planning on which leads us to recognize national health care decisions month with this episode on how to prepare for the unexpected in life.
Today we are honored to learn from special guest, David York, who will help us understand how to prepare as best we can, for these life emergencies. David is an Attorney, Certified Public Accountant, and Managing Partner with the Salt Lake City law firm of York Howell & Guymon.
