S.3 E.7 - 4 Tips for Better Health and Wellness
Please tell me I am not the only one who has struggled with finding that right balance when it comes to health and wellness? Years ago I was going through one of the toughest, most pivotal moments of my life when my brother encouraged me to stay active and find outlets for my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
Well, one thing I found was that all four of these, in one way or another, involve REST. Forbes did a great article about 6 pieces of expert sleep advice where they unpacked sleeps effect on our immune health, for fitness, for our brain health, for preventative health, consistency, and overall routine. Experts say that the more we can balance these four areas, the healthier our body systems - which overall effects our health and wellness.
The challenge seems to be in knowing HOW to find that balance? Well, today on Holly's Highlights we are going to take a closer look at exploring these areas, ask some questions for self reflection in each one, identify how you can set goals to acheive that overall balance, and provide resources and tools to equip you for a better health and wellness for the season of life you are in right now.
At the end of it all - as spring has sprung - bloom where you are planted - in health in wellness in all.
